SANAV CT-24 (TA) High Performance Portable GPS Vehicle and Asset Tracker

OVERVIEW


The CT-24 (TA) is an advanced portable GPS/GSM vehicle and asset tracker specially designed for long battery operation time and low wireless data usage.

The 'Auto Power Save' mode turns off the GPS receiver and GSM modem during idle periods, when the GPS position update interval is set to longer than 5 minutes.

The 'TA' firmware has a special feature which adjusts the GPS position update rate dependent on whether the CT-24 is stationary or moving. This optimized GPS update rate feature can significantly reduce the number of GPS position updates transmitted over the wireless network when the CT-24 is stationary, thereby reducing the wireless carrier data usage.

The high GPS and GSM receiver sensitivities allow the CT-24 to function under the dashboard in a vehicle without any external antennas.

In addition, the CT-24 provides 2 sets of open I/O ports which can connect to the vibration sensor and reed switch accessory.
